Clock looked new to to me. Keeps good time. Looks very cute and animated in the kitchen. A bigger clocked would have looked good there too, but I don't want to deal with heavier, less common C batteries. A big clock with 3 or 4 AA batteries would convince me to purchase a bigger clock though. This clock wouldn't survive a fall from the wall The eye post mechanism looks very delicate and easy breakable. The plastic throughout is light. The clock sits flush against the wall and I mounted it securely to the wall, so it should be fine. It's small enough to fit almost any space and it will brighten up your empty walls or work space.
