Installation Tips (from Doctor Kit-Cat):

• Tools Needed: Small Phillips-head screwdriver (jeweler’s size, not eyeglass repair size), optional pliers, and a towel.

• Place the clock face-down on a towel with batteries removed.

• Locate the Phillips screw near the top battery contacts, securing the lever. Apply firm downward pressure with the screwdriver; use pliers to turn if tight.

• Remove the screw and black plastic retaining piece (save both). Insert the new lever with the dark magnet facing the clock’s round disk.

• Insert eye stems into the lever’s top slots, gently bending slots if needed. Reinstall the retaining piece and screw securely.

• Test with fresh batteries (2 C for Kit-Cat, 1 AA for Kitty-Cat). If animation issues persist, consult the Doctor Kit-Cat troubleshooting guide.
